Longines-175 Years in Watch making

watches-fake.net / 2010-02-07
Longines was established in St. Imier Switzerland in 1832 by Auguste Agassiz. Originally Longines outsourced watch production to the many craftsmen that existed in the region - (Miros Square). In 1854 Longines set-up their own watch making factory to control quality of their production. Quality did improve and Longines was soon manufacturing watches with consistent accuracy that held them in high regard. In 2007, Longines had its 175th anniversary.
As a part of the 175-th anniversary, Longines has also launched its new jewel-watch for ladies called the Longines 175 Diamonds - (longines automatic watch). The Longines 175 Diamonds is the most elegant and refined way to commemorate the brand's anniversary and please the brand's female clientele. The lady's watch demonstrates the brand's aesthetic heritage and love for elegance. The timepiece has been manufactured in a limited series of 175 pieces. The 175-diamond-embellished jewel-watch celebrates the Longines anniversary with remarkable elegance
